We had a good turnout at our annual meeting, with about 25 neighbors represented. And we didn't even get wet from the dramatic and threatening rain clouds hanging overhead our outdoor gathering.
In addition to other general business, we elected our new president (Antonio Alba), vice president (Don Voth), secretary (Karen Pena), and public safety chair (Zack Ray). We also thank our outgoing president (Mikaela Porter) and vice president (Frances Niedermeyer) for all the effort they put into helping make our neighborhood great during this past term.
We generally have business meetings several times a year to plan neighborhood activities and organizational matters such as funding our neighborhood beautification efforts. Keep an eye on our entrance marquees for exact dates and times. All neighbors are invited to all of our general board meetings.
Our P.O. Box is accepting mail again. Sorry about the interruption!
Membership dues are requested at the beginning of the calendar year. Dues are $35.00 per year for resident membership and $50.00 per year for business membership. The courtesy membership (for new neighbors) expires at the end of the calendar year. Funds received from the membership dues and other gift donations are mostly used for landscape projects and maintenance, city NA fees and neighborhood social events. New members are always welcome. For information on how to join, see our Join LTNA section at this page.
